“Figure and Form”

Presented by the Nebuli Artists Group

Gallery Lane Cove

Top level 164 Longueville Road, Lane Cove
June 4th – 29th 2013

Nebuli Arts is a newly formed group of Sydney photographic artists aspiring to attain a distinctive niche within contemporary arts.

The exhibition is presented in a new ‘state of the art’ gallery at Lane Cove which offers a venue accommodating over one hundred images by 15 artists.

As a part of the Head On Photo Festival, the classic theme “Figure and Form” is presented in a diverse and unique way. It is an eclectic mix defining and exploring the tension between form and space. References to self-expression, emotion, abstraction and metaphor invite the viewer to question the interplay between the visible and invisible culminating in the identification of the extraordinary within the ordinary.

Nebuli artists present an exhibition which expands the boundaries of photography to art of a high order.

The artists represented are: Rosemary Atkinson, John Bardell, Susan Buchanan, John Chapman,
Des Crawley, George Fracchia, Jan Glover, Michael Haylen,
Ken Lipworth, Carolyn Pettigrew, Prue Platt-Hepworth,
Maureen Rogers, Alison Seccombe, Peter Steele, Dawn Zandstra
